The Vassago crew was out in Grand Junction and Breckenridge this weekend putting the Black Label prototypes there their paces.

Not a bad way to spend a weekend!

For those of you not overworked by the man, it's a 3 day weekend! So ride a little harder, drink a little extra, but for thumb's sake, forgo the fireworks.

Vassago's own super star Tom "the princess" Ament  took the Arizona state championship series in the SS open class for the second year in a row switching between his SS OptimusTi and SS JabberWocky. Tom claims his repeated victories are due his training and superiorVassago race machines, but we know it is our new top secret, alien technology, zero friction chamois butter that gives him the edge.

Kim Cole won the SS Women's state championship for the second year in a row aboard her 21.8 lb jabber complete with a fox fork.

Some other riders wielding the Vorpal Sword advantage of a Vassago bike are listed below:

• Darrin Permentor won the final race in the Cat1 40-49 race on a bandersnatch.
• Brian Sullivan raced marathon on a Jabber and ended up in the top 10
• Evan Smith was in top 10 in the SS open class on a Jabber
• RJ McNulty also was in top 10 in SS open class on a Jabber
